Complete Guide On How To Transfer from Beauvais Airport to Newport Bay Club
An integral part of the Disneyland Paris hotels, the Newport Bay Club brings a little bit of New England to France. Based on a 19th Century home from the North East corner of the USA, the hotel is striking and surpassed only by the Disneyland hotel.
With fantastic amenities on site including a full suite gym, outdoor swimming pool and play areas the hotel is extremely popular with families from all over the world. It is not only the hotel facilities and proximity to the Disneyland park that draws visitors, the opportunity to meet the famous characters such as Mickey Mouse, Pluto or Donald Duck makes the hotel extra special. Many visitors start their holiday by flying into the region and a popular route on low fares airlines is into Paris Beauvais Airport.
Prior to becoming a major hub for Ryanair, Beauvais was little more than a small, quiet airport and NATO landing relief ground 85 km North-Northwest of Paris. The airport is now the 10th busiest in France and serves many destinations across Europe, as well as Ryanair, Wizz air has a large presence and the summer sees a large increase in charter airlines.
The airport has two terminals and it was only in 1997 that the expansion started with Ryanair when they developed its routes from Dublin to Paris, prior to this expansion the terminal that served the airport was nothing more than a hangat built in 1979! The airport bares the scars of its long history, with vivid reminders of conflict it suffered after its initial construction in the 1930’s.
While Beauvais airport is extremely convenient for its low fare airline options, its distance from the town can make onwards travel utilising public transport quite difficult and very long!.
