Transfers from Gare de l’Est to CDG Airport By Train

Charles de Gaulle has its own RER and mainline train station underneath terminal 2E/F so there are opportunities to take the train from Paris Gare de l’est to Charles de Gaulle airport, although there are no direct trains between the two.

Walking from Gare de l’Est to Gare du Nord you are able to take the RER B train direct to CDG. These trains take anywhere between 25 and 35 minutes dependent on which service and they operate between 0500 and 0000.

These trains can be extremely busy, especially during peak periods.

Cost: Adult single ticket is €10, Child single ticket is €7.

Mainline trains between Gare de l’Est to CDG airport are overly complicated and not worth undertaking.

Transfer from Paris Gare de l’Est to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport By Bus

There is a direct bus service from Gare de L’est to CDG airport, this is the RATP 350 service and it runs each day between 0630 and 2230.

Buses depart every 15-20 minutes during the day and every 35 minutes in the evening. The journey takes approximately 1 hour 20 minutes dependent on traffic and the bus terminates at CDG outside the Ibis hotel.

This bus service can be busy and during peak periods seating is at a premium.
