Transfers from Orly Airport to Gare du Nord by Train

With the use of the Orlyval automatic light metro shuttle to the RER station at Antony it is possible to make use of Paris’ suburban rail network to get to Gare du Nord. From Antony you take the RER B line train to Gare du Nord. The Orlyval runs between 0600 and 2335 and trains depart every 5-7 minutes.

There are other options to use other RER connections and Metro lines but all these journeys offer is an extension of the time taken.

There are no intercity rail options between Orly Airport to Gare du Nord.

Transfer from Orly Airport to Gare du Nord by Shuttle Bus

There are no direct bus services between Orly to Gare du Nord. It is possible to take a bus from the airport to different destinations and then use either the Metro or the RER to get to Gare du Nord.

The first option is to catch the OrlyBus at Orly Sud to Denfert-Rochereau. This will require a very short walk from the airport. Once at Denfert-Rochereau you change to the RER B line and take the RER to Gare du Nord.

The second option is to take the Ouibus from the airport to Paris Gare – Montparnasse. Once there You change to the Metro Line 6 to Place d’Italie where you then again change, this time onto the Metro Line 5 to Gare du Nord.

Cost: Adult single ticket each way is €23.30, Child single ticket each way is €17

The other options add no value to the journey options, they take a much longer time.
