CDG processes over 190000 passengers each day with 1300 aircraft movements daily. The airport is located 30 km Northeast of Saint Lazare and is spread out over a large site. The airport has 3 main terminals, with terminal 2 spread into 7 independent and self sustained sub-terminals. The sheer size of the airport can make even the seasoned traveller very weary about onward travel.
Air France use Charles de Gaulle as their main hub and many other airlines use the airport to connect Paris to the world. Onward travel is offered at CDG via road and rail, with the A1 motorway close by and the airport having its own rail station underneath terminal 2E/F. When considering how to get to Saint-Lazare from CDG it is recommended to get a private taxi as it is the only direct door to door option.

Transfers from Paris CDG to Saint-Lazare By Train
There are a couple of options to go between CDG to Gare Saint-Lazare on the Parisian suburban rail network, these journeys start on the RER B network from CDG RER station, which operates between 0500 and 0000 with trains departing every 15-20 minutes.
The first option is to take the RER B to Gare du Nord where you then walk to Gare Magenta and take the RER E to Gare Haussmann Saint-Lazare. Gare Saint-Lazare is a short walk away.
The second option is to take the RER B to Chatelet-Les-Halles. From there you walk to Chatelet and take the Metro Line 14 to Gare Saint-Lazare.

It is possible to take other connections across the suburban rail network but they add no value and take longer.
There are no mainline train services between CDG rail station and Gare Saint-Lazare.
Transfer from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Saint-Lazare
There are no direct buses from Charles de Gaulle to St. Lazare, there is however the Roissybus that goes to Opera which is a short walk away. The Roissybus departs from the bus stops at terminal 2E/F and the journey takes 50 minutes (traffic dependent).
