Transfers from La Defense to Gare du Nord By Train

There is an extensive suburban rail network across Paris, however, there are no direct trains between La Defense to Gare du Nord. There are opportunities to take the RER trains between the destinations, all of which use the RER A Line then the RER B Line.

The easiest and most straightforward route is to take the RER A from Gare de La Defense to Chatelet Les Halles. Once there you change to the RER B to Gare du Nord.

There are no intercity rail options between La Defense to Gare du Nord.

Transfer from La Defense to Gare du Nord By Bus

There is the opportunity to take the bus from La Defense to Gare du Nord. However, this requires a short walk and short journey on the RER A train.

Starting again at Gare de La Defense, take the RER A train to Auber. Once at Auber you need to walk to Opera – Scribe where you take the Ouibus to Gare du Nord.
