Transfers from Gare de Lyon to Orly Airport By Train
Whilst Gare de Lyon is well connected to the suburban rail network, Orly Airport is only connected via an automatic light metro shuttle to the RER B line station at Antony.
This shuttle is known as the Orlyval and operates between 0600 and 2335. Using this service it is possible to travel between the two stations with some connections. There are two relatively easy options for this.
The first option is to take the RER A from Gare de Lyon to Chatelet Les Halles where you take the RER B line to Antony and onto the Orlyval.
The second option is to take the Metro line 1 or the RER to Nation. Once there it is the Metro 6 to Denfert-Rochereau where you take the RER B to Antony and onto the Orlyval.

It is possible to catch many different other options changing between RER and Metro lines but they do little more than add time on to your journey between Gare de Lyon and Orly Airport.

There are no direct bus options between Gare de Lyon to Orly Airport, nor are there any easy bus only services. There are however bus options when utilised with the Paris suburban rail network.
The first bus option starts on the Metro line 1 or RER A from Gare de Lyon where you take the train to Nation. From there it is a short hop on Metro line 6 to Denfert-Rochereau where you can take the Orlybus to Orly Airport
