Transfers from Gare du Nord to Orly Airport By Train

Paris is served by the Metro and RER suburban services across the city and via the SNCF network to the rest of the region. There are indirect suburban services from Gare du Nord to Orly Airport.

The easiest indirect service goes from Gare du Nord on the RER B line to Antony where you can take the Orlyval. This is an automatic, driverless shuttle railway that goes direct to the terminal from Antony. These trains run every 5-7 minutes between 0600 and 2335.

There are other different ways to connect across the suburban rail networks of Paris but they do not add any value, they do nothing but add time.

There are no direct mainline train options between Gare du Nord to Orly Airport.

Transfer from Paris Gare du Nord to Orly Airport By Bus

No direct buses operate between Paris Gare du Nord to Orly Airport. There are however opportunities to take RER or Metro lines to areas where you can take bus connections,

The first of these options is to take the RER B line from Gare du Nord to Denfert-Rochereau where you can take the OrlyBus to Orly Sud. From there the airport is a short walk away.

There is a second option for bus travel. From Gare du Nord take the Metro line 5 to Place d’Italie where you change to the Metro line 6 to Paris Gare – Montparnasse. From there it is the Ouibus to Orly Airport.

Duration: 1 hour 3 minutes.

Cost: Adult single ticket each way is €23.30, Child single ticket each way is €17.

There are other options but they add no further value and only increase time and cost.
