Transfers from CDG Airport to Downtown Paris By Train
The train is another option for you to travel from CDG to Downtown Paris. All trains depart from Terminal 2 at the airport, which can be difficult to get to from other terminals, particularly if you have children or a lot of baggage in tow. The train station is often crowded and a hive of activity, not what you need if you have travelled from afar.
The RER, a suburban train, operates every 15-20 minutes from Charles de Gaulle to Paris on the ‘B line’. The line takes you to Gare du Nord or St Michel, from there you can travel on other RER lines or catch a Metro train across the city. The RER operates from 0500 to midnight and has 5 different lines operating in 6 different zones.

The intercity rail service, the TGV does not run direct services from CDG into the city.

The 350 and 351 are local Parisian bus services that operate from terminals 1 and 2. They run from 0600 to 2230 to Gare de l’est and Nation Metro respectively.

Le Bus Direct operates 2 services, Line 2 to the Arc de Triomphe/Eiffel Tower and Line 4 to Gare de Lyon/Montparnasse. The services operate from all terminals except 3 and run between 0600-2300.

Cost: €17 each way or €30 for a return.
The final bus service is Roissybus, operating between 0600-0030 every 15-20 minutes to Opera from CDG. The service stops at all terminals.
Duration: 1 hr.
