Located in the 10th arrondissement, Gare du Nord is one of the busiest railway stations in Europe and only surpassed by Japanese stations. Over 214 million passengers pass through the Gare du Nord doors each year.
The station serves the SNCF mainline, RER, Metro, Eurostar and many bus services across the city. The rail networks to Gare du Nord extend as far as the UK, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands.
Built in 1864, the station was designed by Jacques Hittorff and is instantly recognisable in many films such as The Raven, The Bourne Ultimatum and Mr Bean’s Holiday.
While the station is a major transport hub, public transport connections to Disneyland Paris are not as easy as one may believe and a private taxi offers the easiest journey.

Transfers from Gare du Nord to Disneyland Paris by Train
There are no direct suburban rail services from Paris Gare du Nord to Disneyland Paris. There are several options to use the RER and Metro services, all of which utilise the RER A line towards Marne-la-vallee station, from there Disneyland Paris is a short walk.
The first option is to utilise either the Metro 4, RER B or the RER D line from Gare du Nord to Chatelet Les Halles station, from here you then take the RER A to Marne-la-vallee.
If you are going to use this route it is recommended to use the RER D as it tends to be a bit quieter than the RER B and less walking around the station than the Metro 4..
The second option is to catch Metro 5 from Gare du Nord to Oberkampf. At Oberkampf you change onto the Metro 9 to Nation. At Nation you then take the RER A to Marne-la-vallee.
It is possible to use other solutions but they take longer than those listed above.

Whilst Gare du Nord is a mainline train station there are no easy routes on the intercity network to make that journey worthwhile.
Transfer from Gare du Nord to Disneyland Paris by Bus
The only viable and non-complicated bus option is to utilise the Disneyland Paris Express to travel to Disneyland Paris from Gare du Nord. This service leaves Opera at 1800 and stops by Gare du Nord shortly after. This is a very restricted option and quite expensive.
