Guide on How To Transfer from Beauvais Airport to Hotel New York
Paris and New York have long had an affinity, joined by fashion, food and style and the New York Hotel at Disneyland Paris brings a piece of Lower Manhattan to Chessy. The exterior of the hotel represents the New York skyline and inside is awash with art deco designed to represent the city, including the Manhattan Restaurant which is based on the famous Manhattan Cotton Club. The artwork in the hotel is from the Rockefeller centre or the 1939 World Fair and gives an essence of the Big Apple.
A flagship hotel for Disney, the hotel includes the largest indoor swimming pool in the resort and the ecological skating rink which requires no electricity or water. The New York Hotel is extremely popular with guests to the park, close to the main entrance and offering a luxurious 4* experience it is easy to see why. Visitors wishing to experience a bit of the World’s capital in France need to be quick though, the hotel is to close in 2019 to be redesigned by Disney’s imagineering department. Many tourists now flocking to the hotel before it’s makeover are utlising the exponential growth of low fares airlines, many of which fly into Paris’ Beauvais Airport.
Located 125 km north of Disneyland Paris, Beauvais is the 10th busiest airport in France, serving 4 million passengers annually. Many passengers to the airport arrive on the array of low fares airlines who have made Beauvais its Paris hub with Ryanair being the largest by far.
It was indeed Ryanair that made Beauvais the airport it is today, before Ryanair developed its routes in 1997 the passenger terminal consisted of no more than a small hangar constructed in 1979. Now the airport has 2 modern, new terminals.
Whilst the growth of Beauvais has allowed more people to access the Parisian region, the distance from destinations does make onwards travel somewhat awkward on public options.
